Helping Hands for the Disabled (2001 – Present)
A 501(C)(3) agency located in King County, Washington that provides housing for developmentally disabled adults. I am responsible for website design and maintenance. I assist with all fundraising events.
The Knight Scribe (2007-2008)
Editor-in-Chief of high school newspaper, created, designed, edited, and contributed to the paper.
Bremerton-Kitsap Special Olympics (2007-2008)
Volunteered with the local Special Olympics Teams. Assisted in coaching athletes and fundraising. Participated as a Unified Partner.
Washington State Concerns of Police Survivors (2001-2006)
A 501(C)(3) agency that provides support to survivors of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. I assisted with fundraising, selling merchandise, and designing and editing newsletter articles.
Kitsap Regional Library (2004-2005)
Volunteered at the local library. Assisted in planning children’s events, shelving, and cataloguing items.

Education.

Drake University (Fall 2008 – Present)
Magazines Major, with concentration in Psychology. Active member of and Pledge of the Year for Alpha Phi Omega.
Bremerton High School (Graduated 2008)
Graduated in top 5%, designated Washington State Scholar, five advanced placement courses, Vice-President of Honor Society, assisted with video production for daily school bulletin.
Washington Business Week (Summer 2006 & Summer 2007)
Summer program for business training and simulation. Attended both standard and advanced programs.

Skills.

Excellent knowledge of PC and Mac systems. Experienced with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Word, Publisher, PageMaker, PowerPoint, Final Cut Pro, iWeb, and Soundtrack.
